Well aliens dont have to clmply with our imaginings of thrm. They could be as small as bacteria but that makes them alive. I have heard theroies that,our genetic heritage could have hitched on a asteroid that crashed into our planet long ago. Any way coooool on you nan. I will check it out when I am in front of a pc

lol nymph, I just had to google about the movie, but no I didn't, I actually was trying to think up a domain name and wanted alienone / alien1 but it was on the premium list at a few thousand bucks, so I was just going thru the numbers to see what sounded good together and seven sounded cool and was available so I snatched up alienseven and alien7 both so no one could have them.

I was thinking about aliens or life out there,
Say we find somethink somewhere, and it is on cellulair basis.
Do you guys think we still sould research it or just
leave it alone, becouse there is a pretty big possibility
that we mess up some critical part of their evolution.
Life on earth took ages to evolve to the point where it is now
and no-one interfered with that (i think).
So what gives us the right to do it to other lifeforms.

Whos to say single cell alien life is not intelligent? As improbable as that may be, I would say research it. And even if I say don't research it it would not matter,because it would happen any way. I personally would be curious to know what it was and how it came to be.

The more I think about the coincidences that happened to get life on earth where it is today, the more confused I become. I have so many questions that have no answers. (Guess I should just learn to appreciate numbers) Like I said in a previous post, the placement of earth was perfect for human life, any other placement and we would not be here today,or we would have evolved differently.

As for extraterrestrial life,who knows the forms it could take on, even sentient superfluid helium beings could be drifting around the galactic core right now.

Maybe someday we will have the technology to travel beyond our small solar system, Thanks to Einstein we are limited on the amount of time it would take to get anywhere. The only way to find out is to start traveling, its doubtful an obscure radio signal that makes any sense will make it to SETI saying "Hi planet Earth".

Maybe 20 light years away orbiting some little red dwarf star is a planet hosting a society of mutes that communicate telepathically having technology surpassing ours by millennium, doubtful they will be broadcasting radio signals

But the age old question,'Are We Alone', the answer is no, we share earth with some 2 million other species, mostly all sentient creatures, and out of all of those, we can only communicate with each other.

Life is chemical reaction. it wants to happen. cells or bacteria or plant life. it all counts as life if it is fauna. mean ugly brutal stuff diseases and infections. its life on a different magnitude. what we cant see is eveloution in progress. we live to short to grasp the deal firs hand. millons of years to develop into complex life forms is a scale that boggles my mind. i like the hypothisis aobut the membrane universe / parrallell universe/ repeating big bangs. I dont think it will be understood in my lifetime but i can dig it. to really think we are the only species in the universe. its sad self centered and short sighted. we just cant travel far enough fast enough yet.

I just hope they hurry up..
