Thanks TB, it hasn't hit hard over my area of the city yet but I can tell she's getting closer. It's funny because I have a boss in my job named Sandy so we've been cracking jokes on her all weekend LOL

It's very bad in some sections nymph. Lot of people ignore evac notice and do not have power or gas in the cold. People get complacent sometimes. Seen it happen here. NY is a series of islands with no barrier land between them and storm. At least LA has some marsh land left.

Yeah I saw pictures from the jersey Shore. my wife's family always used to vacation there. We did one family trip there a few years back. I it was crazy to see the roller coaster in the ocean. I'm sure the little hotel we stayed on at the beach is no longer there

I thought they were mad that it wasn't canceled? Which I kinda agree on, and seems like a waste of resources in a time of need.

Really bad storm, I just looked at the power outage maps and it seems some is restored but others will be waiting another week for their power to get back on, that has to be a logistical nightmare trying to get the infrastructure back up and running
