ha. nice. well that is what happened at the end of each benny hill show.

any way IDK how to do distributed composing but willing to offer my limited ability if you want to try and put somthing together. i have a cable that i can plug into my mac to record my guitar but have never used it so i dont know how i would record a mp3 of myself. willing to try.
from the dusty crypts of self debasement i offer really really clumsy strumming.

Try making one yourself, once you find all the right tools it ends out being pretty easy.

First step is the right Digital audio workstation, Right now my current favourite is reaper. It's free if you don't sell your music, High end, easy to use and works on mac and PC. Plus the download is only 4 Mb :).

http://www.cockos.com/reaper/

The other free option for mac is ardour, ardour is nowhere near as easy to use but very very very advanced in features.

http://ardour.org/

These are both great.

The second step is guitar tone, i always use software Amplifier modellers because they are easier, i found a nice free one for mac that should sound a bit like a marshall
http://www.macmusic.org/news/view.php/lang/en/id/5540/

This will run inside reaper/ardour as a plugin.

For drums there are two options, use premade loops. Or use Softsampling drum machines.

As far as loops my new favourite website is this one http://ryangruss.com/

He's a proffessional Session drummer who makes free loops daily for us un-drummmers (now a word). they're high quality and there is a nice range, recently he uploaded some cracking james brown style loops.

The other option for mac is drumcore free, this one allows you to sequence your own drums or use it's inbuilt patterns, this is a free version of the full software, it's just cut down, 2 kits instead of 100. http://www.drumcore.com/TemplateMain.aspx?contentId=65

I'd be happy to record some bass if the track requires it too ;)
