DHL couldn't find my house........

DHL couldn't find my house........

Postby MichaelVash7886 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 7:23 pm

Ok this is really sad imo. DHL is trying to compete with UPS and Fedex, but yet, here I am waiting for a package all day, only to find out that DHL needs directions.... I call them up and they tell me that's what the driver needed was directions. I say "ok let me pull up map quest". I type in my address and an address I know in the city they are in tell them word for word what would apply to them. So hopefully it'll come tomorrow.

For their trucks not to have some GPS is just silly..... Needless to say Amazon will be getting a letter about this.

I drive for fedex and our scanners just got gps on them and only a few of them have it yet! DHL is much smaller then us and ups is much bigger so i dont see DHL getting it anytime soon!! But in the drivers defense i have had to call and get directions many of times!!! I delivered one town for 6 years and still got packages that i had no idea where they were! Mostly stops out in the country were the hardest. I usually got it figured out if the house was in town!! Not trying to get you to not call in on the guy(i could give a rats--- lol) but just giving you a little better picture of what goes on!! Could have been the guys first day on the job, who knows!

Grathein (guy who plays in the tourney with us) drives for UPS, he will agree, sometimes you just have to call to get directions! Your lucky he called... sometimes they just drive around with the box on there truck for days!! LOL
UPS and FEDEX RULE! ;vil: :50cal:

No, you misunderstand. They made me call customer support. Their tracking info on the website said to call customer service. If they called me, I would of been fine with it as I can understand that.

That is sad and funny sunny to me.

Ha Gem and Grath have my respect that is a harsh job. I spent a summer working on the load docks of UPS in collage. its hard to belive how much you can sweat at night loading a truck.
