They normally don't talk about firmware updates i assume 1.4 news will be out soon because jobe said it was really close and that he can let out info in like a week and that was on like teusday so woooo come on.

Hi, everyone. As many of you know, we released PS3 firmware update v2.40 last week, but had to take it offline temporarily because, for a limited number of users, the XMB wouldn’t display after the update was installed. We’ve been able to fix the problem, and I’m happy to report that firmware update v2.41 will be released shortly.

We want to extend our apologies to the PlayStation community for any inconvenience. Now we’ll be looking forward to seeing everyone online and racking up those trophies!

2.41 is a joke i got it early morning and it doesn't solve any problems. come on need 1.4

I did not notice until i tried to log on to warhawk and it kicked me forcing me to go back and update it. ugh. no real problems yet but i could not find out what it was about when i looked the psn thread was not linked live from 2.41 to its description.
