Thats just it cloud, we should be able to do something about it. It is our property, if someone wants something that they see you have, they should get a job and go buy it. But my god, how much stuff in america is stolen evryday? You would be surprised I am sure. In 2007 in america there were over 6.5 million incidents of larceny alone.

nah, im just here venting my frustrations on thieves. Out of all the times I have had stuff stolen , this is the first time I have gotten stuff back, so yeah im pretty happy about that, even tho i gotta pay some cash. Who I feel sorry for really is all the victims that are unable to replace what they have lost. Alot of ppl struggle on a daily basis just to survive, what they can save up for and buy is wonderful, but then to have some punk take that away from them pisses me off. It takes quite a bit to live in this world today, it could relly do without all the crime. I really dont envy my child, I feel sorry for him, he will have his own struggles when he grows up and I am gone. Unless something changes in this world soon, nothing is going to get better.

I am not saying its not painful but i think i see why. its just easier for someone to try to steal then to try and work a shity job. it takes a tougher person to work a shity job and try to better themselves then to victamize others. i just think if it was tougher to actully steal less people would try.

I watch some of those prison shows on tv, and to me it seems some of them enjoy life behind bars.
I would rather work at Mcdonalds or ride the back of a trash truck (both shitty jobs) before I would resort to crime.
Personaly I enjoy my freedom and not the fact that I have to worry about when they are going to catch me for stealing.
If we had tougher penalties for these crimes we would have less of them, and until america clamps down on these thugs we are in a rut. If the penalty for a first offense theft was getting your hands cut off, you prolly would think twice about it. But as it is now you might just get probation or a fine, so of course the rewards might be greater than the crime, so yeah, they will steal. On a murder charge, no questions asked, execute them on the spot.
Countries with stricter punishments have lower crime rates, there might just be a connection there

I know what you are saying. i think that becomes the soceity they know and feel a part of. having to be in a gang to survive. not having non gang friends on the out side. it puts them in a desperate ugly situation. lots of people asking / offering them bad jobs.

Yeah its tough. i would rather be free too. My cous truned it around. he speant 5 well 8 years in jail after the prhobation violation. he is working offshore on oil rigs now. I am happy becase this takes him out of a violent enviroment that he grew up in.
