Australia's internet is now being censored.

they say that this is to protect children from the horror's or pornography, now i don't know about you guys, but monitoring what you're children do on the internet is up to the parent, not for the government to simply take away from all of us.


it isn't just pornagraphy, site's about euthanasia are blacklisted,

and even the website of a tour operator and a dentist from queensland.

Is out government simply too stupid to realise what the hell they are doing? this is akin to the situation in china currently, the government is making themselves universally unpopular with this move. and i think i speak for all of us when i say they need to bloody wake up to themselves. you can't solve problems by trying to blot them out.

Euthanasia as controversial as that is should not be blocked. I for one support it and would gladly rot in jail if i were a doctor just to end the suffering of some of my patients.

I just don't see how they can do this in what's supposed to be a free country, some "hackers" (most likely script kiddies but whatever) shut down about 7 government site's with DDos attacks. in a protest, and the move has been supported by no-one outside the government. and yet it still goes ahead, this is bullshit, absolute bullshit. even some poker site's have been shut down, why?

The government pretty much doesn't want euthanasia, so they're trying to quash any discussion about it. i'm getting huge fucking Orwellian vibe's from the government right now and i don't enjoy it one fucking bit. and in case you haven't noticed they're fucking sprinting.
