some ps3 questions..

Yeah, i know it is not in the PS3 section (couldn't find a good place to post) so feel free to move it.

First of all, as you guys know, I'm going home soon and I'm planning to pick-up gaming again. But just before I left my PS3 (original 60 GB, upgraded to 160 GB) died on me (YLOD).
The thing is now, should I try to fix it myself (hairdryer method), let someone else do it for me (already let it get fixed one time before, lasted 3 weeks) or just buy a 320 GB slim with PS move and a game for 288 euro's. It is quite cheap.. I will probably take a new account and I don't really care about my trophy's/ game data (it is almost 2 years ago, so I can replay everything!!)

Second.
I know I missed a lot of good games.. So what do you guys recommend?
I think I left just after I finished God of War 3.
I know you guys play a lot of Starhawk, I love(d) Warhawk so probably I will buy this one soon, and the new Naruto, anything else?

I have a ps3 slim 250Gb i want to sell... i hardly play it anymore, and i want some extra money, i think I've had it a year ill throw in a PSeye and 2 controllers all for $150 or 123euro's
you would have to pay for shipping and i don't know how much that would be.

its just an offer if you don't buy it, anyone else on here is free to buy it too.
I'm not in a hurry to sell it but if i do it would be nice,

well if you guys decide to do this i recomend doing it through paypall or somthing like that. just to CYA both of you. We dont really recomend anyone sharing personal info here but obviosly certain exceptions can come up. depending on the level of trust and experiance. I would think Fish would vouch for Lee but i dont know him as well. At lest with paypall and ebay or other auction houses you have some sort of recompansation if anything happens.

any way Nymph dont let someone fix it for money. hair dry it if you feel up to it but i would think you better anticapate buying a new one.

if you want to buy Les's go through ebay and paypall or another simalar auction house.
or if you have somthing else lined up then do what works best for you.

those fare fun party games

burnout paradise city if you never did buy it. you should be able to find it cheap now.
starhawk is fun some days i would buy it again if i did not have it.

on a werid platformer

blob2 for very sweet and happy gaming.

survival games

both deadspace games kicked ass


shooters. if you never played the first boderlands its worth getting.

I would have to agree with buying used. Nice to have a warranty when we all know ps3's fail.

I would buy a new one dude. Fixing yourself is just a temp fix anyway. I would say look into reballing but if you already had it fixed once most reballing services wont fix it.

You could also do a temp fix to do the data transfer if you want. Or put hella ice packs on it while you try a data transfer.

Starhawk is ok, its fun but has some balance issues.

I throw warhawk in every now and then.

Mag was awesome, haven't played it in a long time. Kinda lost its luster once they added that new death match type mode cause that's all people seemed to play. But that wasn't may to me. I think zipper is no longer? Damn I want mag2

Battlefield3 was really good I thought, never played the campaign though.

Watch out for buying used games, most take a code to be able to play online. You can buy a code in the store but it cost 10$. No big deal just make sure you figure in an extra 10 bucks to a used online game to see if its worth it.

Uncharted 3 is fun, not a very hard game. But I like the adventure story :-)

I am with drew ill play some starhawk but its not a perfect game

i have not played warhwak in a lonnnnnnnnnnnng time but if the right people grouped up i would be tempeted.

I have brink ( got it cheap new ) but i have not played it. its like a xmas present just waiting to be opened. not sure if i should recomend it but damn for the price i would say its worth thinking aobut.
