maybe i way off but if their dimmer switches then you could turn one full on one half and leave one off then you'd know which is the right one. I noticed the word turn instead flip. that may be to literal i could be wrong. if thats not it im stumped.

Cuz i have ADD and most things i only think about for a few sec/minutes and *poof* they are gone. But if i find somthing intresting or somthing that peaks my thoughts I do whats called "hyperfocus" and its consumes me for hours and sometimes days So that damn question about the money was eating me up for a day and i had to work for a change so i couldnt check the post till a couple hours ago to get the answer only to find out there is another question that i cant get outa my brain! The good thing about hyperfocus is that it only happens with stuff i find interesting so its not so bad. The bad part about ADD is having to find my keys, wallet, remotes and other things 5-10 times a day even though im retelively organized!! Its a trip!!

No dimmers, just flip on or off, and it is quite simple really, the answer comes out tomorrow, hope gem doesnt have a seizure

hmmm.....this is a tough one. i think i got it.
ok. flip the first switch on. wait about 10 minutes, then flip second switch. go inside and if the light bulb is on, touch it. if its hot then it was the first switch. if its sorta heating up/cool, its the 2nd. if not on, then its the third. right?

You turn 2 switches "on" and leave 1 switch "off" and wait about a minute. Then enter the room, but just before you enter, turn one switch from "on" to "off". Once in the room, feel the lightbulb - if it is warm, but off, it has to be the last switch you turned off. If it is on, it has to be the switch left on. If it is cold and is off, it has to be the switch you left in the off position.

I thought the same thing you'd need 20 trees to make 5 rows of 4 so cut them in half to make 20. the other way i was thinking of is you use trees multiple times making over lapping rows but i couldn't think of a pattern so... i don't know.
