Lack of sleep / deprivation can in fact cause death I am not sure about the specifics but i think you would fall asleep before it happend.

Im goin to do a little experiment myself tonight!! Im prolly not goin to go to bed till around 2 a.m.!! I know i know i know... very dangerous but i have to do this! Ive got to prove to myself that it can be done. So if you guys dont hear from me much in the next few days, well, i think you know why. I will be catchin up on my sleep! Please do not try this, this is not something to mess around with. It causes yawns, stretching, long blinking and much more that stresses the human body! Wish me luck, here goes nothing!

just tell me you were saftey concious and had pletny of liquids for dehydration avaliable. beer is good but hard liqurer makes the sun come up faster. i think it has some gravational effect on the sun.
