So with a few days gone since THE MOST IMORTANT ELECTION IN THE HISTORY OF THE KNOWN UNIVERSE the Democrats and Obama are in, chimp idiocy and warmongering for oil are, hopefully, out. Change is allegedly imminent, with all the world's ills being solved on January 20th when Obama's inaugurated. So hoorah for change even if it turns out to be only skin deep, only the passing of time will tell...

I agree i was sucked in by the war hype and fooled too watch why we fight there is an awesome segment with Chaney meeting with Sudam back in the 80's all smiles and shaking his hand for killing Iranians. ha. full circle. any way i think people are building Obahma's potential up and he will be unable to do anything except dissapoint even if he does not fail.

imagine busting ass to get the worst job in the world at a point when its in the worst shape that it has been is a very long time. yeah. for crazy people who want thaqt.

i feel the same, but would have voted for obama cause if Mccain croaks we got president palin.

Sorry, but all arguments about McCain's age went out the window when his mother was in a video segment. The lady is 96 and from what I can recall looked like she was in her 70's or so.

Either way I'm just a cynic when it comes to politics in general. Both sides play these stupid games. Look at one of the things the democrats were/are working on. "The Fairness Doctrine", for those that don't know this is a bill that says radio stations (specifically conservative talk radio, more about why that in a sec) must have equal time with conservative and liberal talk segments.

Now not only is this unconstitutional (as the station is funded by advertisers and in no way the government), but also liberal talk radio has been tried and couldn't make any money as nobody listened to it. NPR has some liberal talk radio and the government gives funding to the station. So I'm not sure which bothers me more them ignoring the first amendment or them even thinking about this when so much other junk is going on. Besides when the mainstream media is so liberal (and I know a democrat who agrees with me on this and stats show many more) it's kind of silly for them to want talk radio too. Stats: http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/brent- ... -obama-win Look at the democratic/ independent numbers.

And I'm not saying the republican party is clean neither party is, and I'd say very few individual politicians are. It's just most of you seem to be liberals or are giving them googly eyes. I do respect McCain quite a bit even though I don't agree with some of his ideas. He's a war vet and was a POW, and been through more than we probably ever will. Throw in the Rev. Wright business for Obama (and yes yes, I know he pushed himself away from him toward the end, but that was after 20 years and embracing him earlier in the campaign) among other things and the fact that I disagree with him politically more so than McCain and my vote was fairly easy to cast.

I honestly didn't vote, I didn't trust either candidate. Now don't get me wrong, I respect Mccain for his military service, but he's just too old and his VP pick is an idiot. For those who kept supporting her, did they not hear what would come out of her mouth? She believed people were watching TV in the 1930s during the Great Depression, and she believed that the dinosaurs existed 6,000 years ago. Is that the kinda person we'd want as a possible president had Mccain croaked? LOL.

The debates were dull this year they were more intresting to me when i was 9 years old with john kerry and bush. lol. I love political news. Doing a paper on political philosophy. Anyway if i could vote i vote McCain lets face it Obama has no expereince.

He only gets votes.

A. He is black
B. He is young.

Then there are a few people who actually like Obama not to be racist bout the black part but just because he is black i am sure that gets him a lot of black voters.

Just btw, that's racist too. Voting for someone because of their skin color is racism.

But I absolutely oppose McCain, and I don't feel like arguing it here (if anyone finds out where I live and comes to my house, I will), but mainly his views on the war and taxing.
