My good friend let me barrow his copy. He warned me that it was very hard but I wanted to see for myself and I love a challenge.
I have too admit its a really tough. You have to be careful all the time. Ive dyed alot but it does'nt penalize you to much for dieing. You can go back to where you died and pick up your lost souls but if you die before you them up there gone forever. Fighting is tough because you've got to kepp an on you stamina meter. Ever action uses up stamina so if you use it all up you a sitting duck till recharges.
Im was trying to fight the tower knight but i died. He so huge though he fell on me and that was it.
If you want to play a very hard but very addictive game this it.

freaking hate that game....waste of 40 bux i swear -_-....ill beat it eventually though after call of duty fever dies down in about 2 years LOL

i watched a review on Xplay that noted. extremely difficult and you die often. No frustration for me thanks. probably an awesome game if you can deal with the frustration of being whacked alot.

Ive died a few times.....more then a few. I saw a great review DS. I didn't know this but if you die to much the game gets harder. You have soul tenancies in each area from pure black too pure white. If you get pure black it gets alot harder.
The online is very weird i was trying to do some co-op but instead the game summons me as a black soul in someone else's game. I wait for about 5 minutes. He dyes before he even gets to me and I get an item. Very weird.
