I personally don't use steam. As I just never was interested in computer gaming, but my brother has a steam. I'll ask him tomorrow if it's ok to give you his, so he has some more buds to play with.

PC gamings where it's at i love console gaming too. but there are thousands of maps around for tf2.

and even killing floor, which is pretty much an indie game. has an SDK availible for free.

Absolutely make sure you get team fortress 2. fucking amazing value for money. it's 20 dollars for almost limitless content. i haven't played it in months, but now i've got my OS and shit fixed up i've been playing it again, god i've noobed up...

yea i was looking at the orange box and i was thinking of picking that up since evry1 and there mother on the pc plays tf2 and supposedly half life 2 and portal are the greatest fps of all time on the pc...ill make a little list of what to get...do you play with the keyboard or do you have an actual pc game pad?

Yeah Orange Box would be a good first purchase.

Beyond that it really depends on what games you are into.

I know some stuff, mainly basics i could show you how to make planes, cars, a mouse aimed turret, an auto missle that will kill the closest person, and some other stuff.

I have a friend that is awsome with expression 2. He is teaching me stuff.
