Fantasy Football Players

Anybody out there play fantasy football??

no, but it alwaays caught my attention, how does it work???

You make team of nfl from various nfl teams. example:
Clouds Team
QB-T Brady
RB-S Jackson
WR-T Owens
TE- J Shockey
K-J Elam

Gems Team
QB-P Manning
RB-L Tomlinson
WR-T Holt
TE-J Witten
K-J Wilkins

Then our teams play each other. So if Brady scores 2 TD's that week then you get 14 pts for your QB and Jackson scores a TD you get 7 pts for your RB and so on. Then after the monday night game you add up all your points and i add up all mine and we see who won for that week. And you do it on yahoo and they keep track of everything so you dont actually have to do any of the adding yourself. Also there will be 8-12 teams in your league so you play someone diffrent each week. Its fun!!!! Me, Grathien and Zymann from this clan play every year. We all put in 100 dollars each along with about 10 more guys and win money at the end of it!

I have done the madden season thing and like bringing the saints to the supper bowl :_)

I like the fact yahoo does all the adding for you.

Hey gem. I am not sure of the host but if you use the one madden uses you might get some more competion ( seperate from your good natured yahoo tradition :-0)

Yeah that sounds like to much. the only reason i offered the madden one is that with people playing it here it would give them an extra reason to play.

I am not trying to steal your thunder Gem but since i picked up 09 i figured since the Fantasy is incorperated into it. why not have some one do a clan FF leuge. since i am a noob i am not the guy for the job. seems easy and we can passowrd it :_)

No thunder stole! I was just seeing if anyone on here played. Im glad i sparked up some interest! Thats cool! I hope you and cloud try it out. We can still chat fantasy football even though you in a diffrent league!!! We can still praise our players who score us points and smash the guys who fall flat. Hell you got me interested in goin and getting maddin so i can join you guys! lol
