lol i am about to get 2 proud achievements this weekends 14 wins away from 2 medals. like 120wh machine gun kills away from 18. Will any of you ever get the DM medal??? I won't

I became

I got 2 medals today

AIR combat, 50hrs in plane, 5 A2A kills IAR, 100pts IAR.
Explenary Air Combat, Must have Air combat, 10 A2A kills IAR

During our clan match last night we were playing CTF on the Eucadia map. Their flag was at base 2 on that map, and our flag was at base 3 (just for some background).

Their teams basic flag capturing strategy was to fly in, snatch our flag and then jump over the side of the hill/mountain base 3 is located on (the flag on this map is placed back by where the Warhawk is parked on base 3). They would then run across the little open area behind/beneath base 2 and 3 (where the landmine, tank, plane, and jeep are usually parked), and then run up the back little staircase to their flag (they mine the hell out of the staircase, that way if you follow, you go boom).

Here's where I come in: D-bag from their team had taken our flag and made the jump from the cliff. I got in on chasing him late and jumped over the side myself. The flag carrier had already crossed the road (where the landmine pick up is), and there was another guy from their team providing cover on my side of the street. I killed that guy, and he dropped a rocket launcher.

Now, by the time this had all happened, d-bag had already started climbing the stair case and I knew I wouldn't have time to do anything about it once he disappeared around the crook in the staircase. So, I equip the rocket launcher, aimed just above where he was runnning, and gave the ole' jump and shoot.

I NAILED HIM FROM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE CLEARING! I couldn't believe it, I dropped the flag carrier, on a staircase, with a rocket launcher, all from what would amount to about 400-600 yards! It was luckier than lucky, but maybe the coolest thing I've ever done on Warhawk.

I was freaking out on the mic, but everyone was like, "O.K. dude, you killed a guy with an RL, calm down", so I felt the need to record the event in RRB history.

oh yeah, i heard ya , you did seem pretty excited about something and I heard ya saying something about killing him on the stairs, but yeah ttat would be something to get excited about. cool shot man...

The only thing that would have been better is if our team would have been able to fly in and get our flag back. The sad end to the story is that I got hosed by a Warhawk, and they ended up capturing the flag anyway.

Still, the idea that some d-bag thought he was home free just to have me him at the last second will allow me to sleep better this week.
