hey my mics not working so can someone tell me how to set it up in case i'm doing something wrong. when i joined twisted's game today i could hear everything ppl were saying but no one could hear me. btw i have a bluetooth headset

It's a problem with Bluetooth headsets and Warhawk, doesn't seem to be any way to fix it other than turning off your PS3. The mic part seems to mute for no reason particularly when switching maps. You can try turning if off before each match ends and turning it back on after each map loads or you can grab a USB mic of some type.

the mic that came with my warhawk also craps out on me at times. I saw a mic at the store the other day that wasn't wireless, it was a USB headset for the PS3. I bet it works better than the bluetooth one. Maybe I'll get it.

I just picked up a PS Eye so I can use it with LBP and have been using it as a mic.

the thing is with my mic is that it works fine with gta but when i try to talk to ppl on warhawk they can never seem to hear me, but i can hear everything everyone else is saying. so i have no clue whats happening.

Hey who.... have you gone into the "sound" section of warhawk and checkmarked the "open mic" box? You prolly have im just trying to eliminate all options!

all that does is makes it so you dont have to press the L3 button to talk

Yea i know Lfighter. I thought there was a possibility that maybe his L3 was broke so this would let us know if it a controler problem or a mic problem

No don't the mic is not crap it is actually quite good. The last firmware updates mostly 2.4 messed with warhawks mics. IT will be fixed later though. But after 2.4 many people complained that their mics got bricked out. Mine did occasionally.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I like using the open mic in the warhawk settings but i have a usb wired mic that i can mute via a extrenal button.

The L3 button they are mentioning is the joystick portion of your controller pad. they are defaulted to L3 and R3. I find it cumbersome durring heated play but if you are comfortable with it then keep using it.

I was worried i would wind up like Hippo and break my stick if i kept pressing it. I did not realize it would actually happen.

Man Kat thats funny I cant belive the firmware needs to be patched again for mics. man I guess its nice to know they are fixing issues as they are reported though.

I have a mic question! Ok, so I have the Jabra125 headset (which is the one that comes with warhawk...weird), and apparently it's not workin so well. People sound very fuzzy, and apparently I sound fuzzy too....any advice on this?
