How to revive this clan

Ok, not sure where I am going here but this clan needs a boost. Out of all the members we have we cannot get enough to play in a tournament game.
Is warhawk dying that fast? Apparently it is, look at GGL, its dead. With all the new games that have come out and ppl have bought, Warhawk is collecting dust.

Who has been busting his butt trying to recruit more members. Not working.
So what to do to keep this board and this clan active? Do we shun Warhawk and start playing other games? This clan has been built around and for Warhawk.
Alot of us have remained faithful here since the beginning and hopefully it remains that way. But It might be time to face reality here and focus on other newer games to keep clan action going.

Im not saying put Warhawk down. It is and always will be my favorite for a long time to come. And I will continue playing it.
But maybe we should focus on recruiting for other newer games that have come out. And then if they also have Warhawk, that is a plus.

I still want to continue with what Warhawk games we can get going, but I think we should start focusing on other games also.

Honestly i dont think its really the game more than it is the players you may already have. Not that i know most of them it just seems to be a circle that most clans go in from my experience. Maybe you should make up a core of very serious players for warhawk that can continue to go forward, but also incorporate a new game (not sure what becuase socom looks kind of dissapointing right now). I know you have lots of players and do not mind skill so much over just having fun, but maybe some of your members just moved on think of some you have not seen in a while for no good reason and start to tweek the roster. THen come up with a good number of how many you want to see in the clan and cap it, its hard to keep track of over 30 players sometimes you know. these are just ideas or opinions to look at, i have been in many of clans over the years and been a clan leader for many socom clans as well. Warhawk is a good game and i see plenty of people just starting to pick it up and play, plus there are not many other options for games IMO coming out

Also please let me know becuase i joined based on you guys playing this game, i have a baby on the way so not going to be buying many more games in the future to play. I know its early but if your not going to play this game then i will move on to people that are more actively involved in warhawk.

true but at least you know everyone in the clan owns it since thats how you recruited a new game forces people to get the new game or not be an active part of the clan in a way if the majority changes over.

Just want to add one thing here.

Warhawk is a great game and has brought us all into this clan.
But that does not mean we cant be playing other games as a clan.
By expanding into other games as a clan we can possibly boost our membership. We have constantly focused all our attention on Warhawk. Maybe we need to move some of that attention to other areas. My main focus will still be warhawk, as I am not ready to shelve the game.

Used to be when I turned on my playstation all my buddies were playing Warhawk, now they are all playing other games.

I am not talking about taking Warhawk out of this clan, because of course, this is a Warhawk Clan. Im just saying we might need to think about recruiting for other games to keep the active player list up.

i think that warhawk is still a pretty popular game because there are still tons of servers on at all times of the day, but not that many ppl are buying the game any more so everyone that wants to be in a clan is already in one. thats why its sooo hard to recruit new members. also i agree with fish about how everyone is playing all these new games that are coming out and how we should expand the clan into other games, but still have our main focus on warhawk. we area already planning on doing this with socom and i'm kinda suprised ppl havent done it with COD4. but even if we expand into other games warhawk is #1. lol sry i pretty much repeated everything fish said but i kinda feel the same way

No dont take this wrong, we are still a warhawk clan and always will be. My main focus other than warhawk is my website. This was done for TB as a base to run this clans operations and a comfy little place to bs without being modded to death on what you post. And in the best interest of the clan and this site, I am just thinking of ways to get ppl in here and if we have more games going then that might help boost membership. Warhawk will always be the top game here and myself and others have no intention of putting it down, so dont think we will shelve the game cause we are not.

Ah cool to hear about a baby on the way..how much longer till he/she arrives?
And yeah, I dont know if you have other kids but yeah, save your money cause they are expensive.

COD 4 is getting old for a lot of people so i wouldnt go backwards it would be just as tough to recruit now, resistance 1 is dead online as far as i know, resistance 2 is upcoming but may take a bit to get established, KZ2 is not until february you hope i could see another delay. MGO was a failure to a lot of people i never see threads about that game anywhere. the next COD if its good would not be a bad choice but after that you have socom which honestly is not what it used to be and i am not impressed with some things i know will probably not change due to the beta

i got a bit its a May baby looks like, yah i have heard they can be. Well its good to hear becuase i dont want to leave i just want cool people to play and have fun. games alone kind of suck no matter how good you get. i understand you want to branch out, just not many games IMO but R2 and K2 will be the best bets in the next few months. unless we all get a wii and make a mario kart Clan

LBP wouldn't have clans
MGO honestly is just boring
R2 is a good possibility
KZ2 is as well
Both COD's are just not my type of game I prefer battlefield bad company to those. COD4 as said is going sort of obsolete as the next one comes out.

GTA4 doesn't support clans that I know of. And it seems as almost all older PS3 online games are dead. Aside from Warhaw COD4 from what I hear most others seem to be dead.

As for Socom I've not been impressed with the beta. And I'm betting many here wouldn't like it because of how much they like the insanity of Warhawk. Furthermore the core of Socom gameplay is no respawns. Meaning if you get killed in the first minute you have to wait until the round is over.

Yeah that bites ass.....But you do that in COD4 in Search and Destroy.....depends on how long the round last, its not that bad imo

Ok ha i missed this thread some how. wow.

Ok Fish no mutiny expected. I always told you i did not want the website focused on me and i thought a place where a bunch of like minded people could get together and play and post was awesome. That said yeah GGL looks like its dying but i wont take us off the site, just in case.

I will play warhawk till the day i die or can no longer access people on the internet. So for me this is my focus. i play other games and while am not a huge CoD or Socom Fan I encourage our guys to form and paly.

as far as i understood we had a MGO COD and a few others. i kept hoping burnout would catch on but its tough for me to organize anything besides warhawk games. I will play in burn out races if anyone wants durring the week becase those can be pick up and put down in under a half hour. so not as much time invested as in warhawk.

So AFSOC. Warhawk will be played. :-)

Fish yeah any game that looks popular go for it.

Vash LBP while not clan based can be worked on by us remotely and share ideas and concepts. and while not a particapting style clan action game i think it could build a strong following and devoted players and a knowaldgeable group here would be valubale.

Who and DW are invaluable to me right now. we are honing our skills and entering competitions. I dont know how Elk adn Ford are faring though. not much chatter from them.

Who and i have at least one player that has not signed up here yet but is in our GB clan. and we have gotten 12 palyers signed up and active minus the two EU guys who run thier side of the pond thing.s


As for anything new. You got me. I have no idea. I will be old and dusty and remain playing hawk till the end of either me or my ps3

Praise the DW! Praise hiM! Hallejuah! lol just kidding. Sorry I've been absent for a few days guys. I took some time off Warhawk, started to get that burn out feeling. So I knew I had to put the game down for a few days. So I've been playing my Zelda games on my Gamecube instead lately. But I am back now and ready to work on more practicing and getting this clan up to speed for some competition.

RRB stands for Rebel Rude Boys, and then blister had a brain fart and called us potatoes in the [TAG]
