Hey everyone

Postby tvancat » Fri Nov 14, 2008 12:08 pm

How's it going everyone? I saw the clan on some website, don't even remember where, lol. I just got Warhawk about a week ago and its a great game. Just wanted to join a clan that has fun and can show me how not to fly into a mountain with a missle on my tail.

Welcome tvancat! Cool name BTW lol, what does it mean? Welcome to Warhawk also, and yeah it's an awesome game. My PSN is DWOMT if you want to add me. I'm at work right now, but I will accept you on my buddy list once I get home to the PS3 lol. And you mentioned you want to learn how to fly? I can help you all you want, I lead the Air Squadron of this clan, and I have practices once a week for all kinds of stuff. When you're ready, we can have a practice and I can show you some stuff. Also take a look at the Warhawk practice session of the forum. I moderate that section and I have placed up some great tips for starting out pilots, even a video that helps you. Welcome aboard! :yeh:

Thanks a bunch. I'm at work myself right now, basically doing nothing, lol. I have trouble just doing avoidance with flying. Maybe a lot more also, lol. Have to see for yourself. I'll look for your invite on PSN either later tonight or tomorrow. If not then I'll send one of my own. Cya later.

yeah Warhawks can be tricky. Do you use normal flight or pro flight? I recommend Pro because that's what I use, but it just depends on the person. Pro flight is better for sharper turns and more dogfighting. My lunch at work is over, so I will help you all I can as we get you better at flying :D

I guess I'm using normal flight since I haven't made a change really to the config of the flight controls. I'll have to take a look at the pro flight then. I'll take all the help I can get, thanks

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm currently playing Fallout 3 also. Just love to wait around corners and use the shotgun right on enemies heads. Just watch the gore fly, lol. Bethesda did a great job with Oblivion and did so again with Fallout 3.

I also have Oblivion on my PS3, it's a good game, it's got a lot of depth. Although sometimes I have to put it down because it gets to be too much after awhile lol. Then I find myself back playing my Zelda games for the more adventurous feel
