Mixed drinks

Voodews for me. Pint glass full of ice. Start of the night, half vodka and half mountain dew. End of the night, all vodka and a splash of dew for color and so I can call it a mixed drink. Otherwise it's an old fashioned heavy bitters double brandy sweet. No food in my old fashioned either.

Throughout my roadtrip so far on nights that I don't drive I've had a couple Jameson whiskey mixed with ginger ale...apparently thats a "man's" drink LOL

Nah man this thing hits a lot harder than a sour, try it sometime. I had a really fruity drink last night after watching the Nationals game, I believe it was called a Skittles Bomb...it was extremely fruity but it damn sure tasted good.

I enjoy Jameson or any good whiskey on the rocks.

The good/bad thing about Voodews, you don't realize you're drunk until it's too late.

Anybody try the JD Honey yet? I don't like it.

i was given a group of liquors and presented with the challange to make a drink with the ingreadiants. here is the recipie i found.

\
Mai Tai
This is the most widely beloved of the classic tiki cocktails. While the use of Blue Curacao might be the subject of some controversy, we selected one of the finest available; you'll recognize the color, and adore the flavor.
1 oz. Demerara Distillers "El Dorado" Cask Aged 3 Year Old White Rum
1 oz. Flor de Cana Grand Reserve 7 Year Old Nicaragua Rum
1.5 oz. Fresh lime juice*
.5 oz. Senior "Curacao of Curacao" Blue Liqueur
.25 oz. Grenadine*
.5 oz. Orgeat Syrup*
.25 oz John D. Taylor's "Velvet Falernum" Liqueur

Build in a glass and shake with ice. Garnish with a cherry and pineapple slice in a double rocks glass.

*This probably goes without saying, but not included. Orgeat syrup can be obtained from many online retailers; we recommend Fee Brothers.

Haaa. Just remember when your old enough to be careful and never drive while intoxicated. Also try not to binge drink. The way your body processes alchohol there is a delay between drinking and it getting into your blood system. Not trying to be a dud. Watched wife over drink a few weekends ago when I was designated driver. I had to pull over and get plastic to go bags from a bat so she could puke on,way home. Had to help her into shower and later into bed. Throwing up on yourself is embarresing and big hangovers hurt like hell

it actually in a removed remote sense drew.. was damn funny. dealing with it sucked.
though i pulled it together pretty tight. i did a quick mcgyver or mr wolf. your choice. or quick road side detour ... safe non thretening bar. bonous got throw up bags from wiatress and helped the wife into the ladies room. on ride home the grocery bags paid off big time.

sooo what did i learn. all designated drivers should have a kit. if you have rear seats with pockets you can deploy sick bags in them .. like the airlines do.
so in the sick kit. some more grocery or simalar bags for the puking party. some air freshener, baby wipes, two or three bottles of water. some mints.

it will make you mobile and keep the puke off the side door.

I still had to clean the seats but. rubber flor mats are freaking awesome. :multi:
