wow I don't know about you guys, but I hate patch 1.4

I just experienced the worst games of Warhawk I have ever played. First of all, the Hero matches are just one huge rape session. Everything was so fast and I died so much, it just wasn't fun. And they did away with rookie servers. I felt I was learning a lot in the rookie servers by playing with others of my skill level and similar rank..but now I've been pushed into servers with people who are way high up in rank, and they are massacring the lower ranks in the servers. Everytime I stepped anywhere, 6 high ranking officers in warhawks swarm all over me and rape me with machine guns and missles. Worst experience in Warhawk I have ever had

Hey DW. dont let it fry you. different modes and not that many servers you probably had some high ranking players on the server you were on. we will put ups some clan only / buddy only servers so you can at least die in a freindly enviroment and ask us anything you want so you can develop at a freindly pace.

if they did away with the rookie servers then they made a mistake. new palyers should not have to fight generals and really skilled players. thats how i started out and almost never played the game again. turst me take a short break relax and then go back to it when you are not bothered by that bad experiance. i have been there.

i can set unranked games to or ranked games to a certain rank allowance but i have to know the highest rank of our players who will be playing so i dont block them.

Sony will reinstitute the rookie servers if they are gone this type of thing has happened before.

the actual modes are kind of crazy. hereo mode is just super chaotic and collection is like multiple CTF points to capture on the map . very hectic and chaotic too. both are really fun.

I will put a server up today as one way o r the other i am done with preping for now.

hang in there. dont give up. and yeah its lame of kids with high rank to gang up. but thats how hereo is going to be sort of i think. you need to gang up on the hero to kill him. dont fly or get in a vehicle unless you own the sky as the hero as your plane can still die fast.

Hero mode is a fuckin joke, whats the point really? Yeah its a rape session. I never noticed they did away with rookie servers, that was a mistake if they did. Of course the bigshots are going to gang up on the noobs, they are easy prey.
I can understand how the fun level would diminish getting constantly killed and not having a chance in hell. I know when i started playing i was killed evertime i turned around, the servers were labeled different then but i usually just looked for one with very few people in it till i figured out some skills. Not even sure if i care aboout collection mode, but it is at least better than hero.

I haven't tried collection yet. I spent most of my time last night trying Hero mode and getting slaughtered by high ranking players lol

Yeah they don't have rookie servers anymore. The servers have been changed. It's something like recruit to chief seargent.....then servers go from chief seargent to Cmd Marshal. So yeah I was up against Cmd Marshals since I am at Wingman, and they were slaughtering me. I am mad that they changed the rank requirements for servers. It's not balanced at all.

I followed your advice Twisted, I took some time off of warhawk after getting slaughtered the other night lol. I've spent the past night playing Zelda Ocarina of Time instead on my Nintendo Gamecube

hmmmmm either tonight or sunday i will put up a ranked server with buddy list maxed out. that will give you a chance to fight and kill your friends here with out the vultures ganging up on you. it can suck badly.

glad you took a break and i hope it works it did well for me. Sony needs to bring back the rookie servers. the game for beginers is much to hard to play against generals who ( i agree with fish completely) will try and dominate and abuse the balances of the game. so what can you hope for.

SECA has re intitiuted some servers when this has happened before. so they may reset the rookie only servers again giving you some refuage. you can play in unrakned hosts where you see a lot of the players can set max rank to keep out the upper palyers. you can play in clan only or clan vs clan games with us. at least you will have some experianced team players focused on your side.

dont let it ruin the game for you . i still jump on line from time to time and get in a room that has me shouting obcinites out loud. Man i hope my mic was off yesterday. I am proud of my creative obscinities but emabarressed with my loss of control and my inablitity to control my anger.

that reminds me i have a zelda GBA game i have not finished. i might have to hook it up sometime soon to my GC I bought one of those adapters to play GBA games on my GC so i would not hurt my neck.

there was a horror game but forget the name if you did not do somthign you character would start to go crazy and panic it would become tough to see as the screen would display odd cloror patterns and stuff.
