POST battles for 1/6/09 & 1/9/09

Ok here are the dates and times of the week's upcoming battles:

Tuesday 1/6/09 at 8:30pm Central Time
Ground War night. I know you guys like the dogfights, but gotta be fair to the ground pounders in the clan too lol. Besides, even pilots need ground practice, you never know when you might be stuck in a ground fight. So for this fight no Warhawk battling is aloud. Warhawks can be used for transportation in some maps like maybe to a high mountain to snipe, but that's about it. You can't use a Warhawk to rush at the flag. We gotta win the old fashioned way. I will throw in some CTF, TDM, DM, Hero, and some close corridor fighting.

Friday 1/9/09 9pm Central Time

Base rape drills
This will be similar to the way we ran the pretend GB last time. I want you guys to pick teams, and let's try to pick different teams from what we picked last time. I also want those who sign up to committ to this. I understand if things come up and you gotta go, but last time we had people dropping by the second round and that kinda sucked. So let's try to stick around because it's good for us all to practice. Anyways this practice will work as a rinse and repeat method. We as a clan need to practice on breaking out of base rapes. Each round will consist of one team purposely staying in their base for 10 minutes and not going out to capture a base, that way it gives the opposite team the time to come in and base rape, then when the 10 minutes are up the team under attack has to work together to break out. All talk will be enabled that way both teams can communicate to share tips on what we can do to break base rapes. This may not work perfectly as this is our first time practicing this, but let's see what we can do.

Round 1: Red team will base rape Blue team
Round 2: Blue team will base rape Red Team
Round 3: Red team will base rape Blue Team
Round 4: Blue Team will base rape Red Team

This sounds like a nice method of practice. Make sure to sign up. I will send out emails on the PS3 about this sometime today as well.

Agreed, in fact last week I was tempted to sign up on your team just so I wouldnt have to sweat so much while I was playing. Although Gabe gave me a workout too, he is proving to be very good as well.

LOL@Pocket, yeah fighting you always gives me sore thumbs. I am scared I am going to break the analog sticks on my PS3 controller fighting you someday Pocket lol. And yeah Gab is getting better all the time, he's very deadly with that lightning gun. It's like he improves with every battle!

Not yet, although I desperately need the ground practice. With warhawks it usually turns out the team I am on wins, But with ground combat its the opposite, I tend to drag the team down and lose 90% of the time. Not sure If I can make it on tuesdsay, I will try to let you know by tomorrow evening.

No worries man, just let me know if you can. It's no problem at all. I need the ground practice too. So Tuesday night should help us pilots get some practice while the ground pounders get revenge on us lol
