I just got a new TV (HD, had an SD earlier), and there are two things I notice. One is that I can actually read things in Warhawk. Another is that I got Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on BR, and it looks AMAZING! Especially that close up on Johnny Depp's nose.

ewww you mgiht find burried treasur of the forbiden kind.

congratulations on the new TV. glad to hear you not going blind playing the game anymore.

I have an HD i guess 25 or so inch 1080 I screen that i work and game from . its best resolution for the PC really is only 780 by 1040 or so but it is good enough. the outputs on the back sold me. its a Westinghouse and i have everyhting pluged into every type of connection. it is awesome.

I hvae not bought any Blu rays. Got that Will Fareel Nas Car movie for free when i bought the PS3. I have never watched it. whats funny is i loved sasha in Borat and i liked Will in anchorman.

my dvd players are well i have an old SD but its a 5 disc carrosell so i can load it up. plus it likes my burned dvd's .. i have an upgrade one but I was sitting on the sidelines untill the HD / Blu war was over. tell you the truth if i had bet i would have been wrong. Again sony comes in with a DVD player and kills wow.,

any way i am hapy blu is back compatiable with my Standard def dvd's. nothing like having a libarary of coasters.

I normally keep my ps3 on my SD tv in my room but I rented Anchorman on Blue Ray and hooked it up to our 52" HD tv and damn, that was better than real life.

I picked up I Am Legend and Bladerunner the other day.

I don't have a HD TV yet, though. But I will do in a couple of months.

My brother has Alien vs Predator. Watched that on his HDTV. Awesome. Just awesome.

Yeah, it is amazingly hard to read on an SD TV, and amazingly clear to read on an HD TV.

The one thing I hated in the demo was how the guy pernounced mercenary at the start. He said it like merthenary.

Are any of you replacing your SD DVD's with Blu Ray ones?

I have not thought about it and since the PS3 is not in the family room i did not see the point. as long as it bacwards compatiable i will still buy the SD dvd's probably. unless i buy a new player for the family room

I've got Netflix, that's how I see most of my movies. I might change that to send Blu-rays instead of DVDs.

Thats how i get mine too. The selection is really cool but new high profile movies get held up some times. I still dont have a blu ray in a family room to make me want to take advantage of it. but i like it being offered

my bad yeah he was.

HEy Stick. I was hoping netflix would do games but i dont think they will.
I had a gamefly account but thier mailers got really torn up worse then the netflix ones. and i returned a game they did nt get it for a long time and put my account on hold and told me i might have to pay for it. I dissagreed and canceled my account. but if its your only option to rent stuff it might work better for you. just be cautious

I tried Blockbuster, but they have NO good games, at least on the PS3. The best they have is like Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but I don't want that, or maybe Burnout Paradise, which I don't want either.
