Any of you ever play Starcraft? To me this game was one of the best PC games ever made, and one of the greatest tactical strategy games ever created. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it. Blizzard still sells it in major retail stores to this day. The game is 10 years old, but it's still bad ass.

I've thought about playing it, but it's pretty hard to come across, at least where I look. And yeah, they're making a Starcraft 2, which will be out "when it's done" according to Blizzard.

oh the good old days back in 90's this was the best game on pc.

am not sure if ill buy the 2nd game because i havent played pc game for years and i dont feel like it anymore.

and yes starcraft is a good game worth buying

I bought the Penumbra dark plague awhile back but never installed it. I was never a huge fan of RTS but I ejoyed playing one or two WOW games.

me too, i occasionally play RTS. i did play WoW for a bit but i quit because i couldn't be fucked playing it anymore

Starcraft 2 is going to suck now. Blizzard announced that the game has been sliced into 3 separate games. One game for each race (Terran, Protoss, Zerg). The Terran game will be out in 2009, Zerg in 2010, and Protoss in 2011. This is bad. I am very disappointed as a Starcraft fan. The original had all the races in one game, and all the races in the follow up expansion totaling a 6 episode storyline.

I have been looking into it but from what i've heard Starcraft 2 is coming out in July 09

I think it's a good thing that they're splitting up the campaigns. Each game will have all the races in multiplayer (and idk if Starcarft has it, but if they do, skirmish modes), but each game will have the different campaigns. So you can still play as Protoss in multiplayer in the first edition of the game.

I can see your point stick, but the Protoss are my favorite race in Starcraft, and it's gonna suck to have to wait till 2011 to play their story mode lol
