So I downloaded a online FPS and ot's lagging really badly! How do I make the lag go away? Do I have to buy something? >:0

Depends, what is the game?
But in general, to get less lag, connect to a server that has a low ping number (means it's quicker to respond to you), or if you're on a wireless network, maybe try plugging into your network..

Yeah ping is going to be host or service related not usually game but it can be. ala tekken.

Course if your computer is weak it could be you making everyone lag, with PC gaming you have to keep your computer up with the requirements ad upgrade it when neede, its kind of a pain in the ass so I prefer console gaming.
