Ok its very old circa 1980 somthing. its got an odd main protagonist. but its overall very clever and very unique. its like a long twilight zone episode. very nice considering the budget and physicaly / FX limted budgets. i will watch it from time to time. everyone needs a good buddy dog like that. :-)

I loved this movie TB. I haven't seen it in a long time. Is it on DVD? If so I need to grab a copy. I won't spoil the end for those who haven't seen it, but I must say the boy's decision at the end that involved his dog stunned me and had me cracking up laughing. TB knows what I am talking about lol

If he kills the dog at the end, im blaming you for ruining it! I seriously hope it involves giving the dog radiation poisoning while trying to make him grow arms.
