For verification the code can work on 5 different consoles so once the owner downloads it he can give the code to 4 different people and it SHOULD work. Thats what the fine print says.

No, that just means, that like every other PSN game/download (like warhawk), you can download it 5 times after you buy it. So, say you get a new PS3, you can go into your account management and re-download all your games, without buying it again. But it all has to be on the same PSN id.
