i went to the xmb ps3 dashboard and just saw face book somewhere in account settings. let me check around. once i did click on it i had to go to face book and generate a user id then i came back to the ps3 and on the face book app enterd my id and password for facebook

Ok yeah go into acount settings when you are connected to the internet on the ps3
then link it and sign in.
