back on borderlands

well join anytime you want nood. GABE i am on dr Zeds missions but if you are past them i am starting to get interested in the second playthrough. thing that sucks is you and nood are so much higher level then me. Vash has probabably passed me up since bioshock and ME2 hit my machines.

Gabe. somthing is odd aobout my dr Zed missions. i cant access the lumber yard and the stupid wall in dead heaven wont let me cash in the first mission and access the second part of the next one. ugh. gave up and started my second playthrough :-)

I just finished the zed missions yesterday bc i was bored. I didn't have any trouble. I could join you tomorrow and we can try and finish it. I am a higher lvl but I don't overdo it when im playing with lower lvl'ed ppl. That take the fun out of I think. I'll be on later if im feeling ok after dentist. I should be fine by 6 or 7.

I have not seen any reports directly related to Borderlands and ps3 freezing. the only game i have experianced this with is fallout 3 which is almost unplayable now.

you might try and return the game for another copy from the place you bought it. I will skim some forums and see if i can pick up any other solutions

sucks man its a cool and frustrating game. the battles can be tough and enimies can respawn and you can strugle with amo amounts but overall its a cool game.

damn ok cloud it looks like lots of people are having this issue

suggest if you are having these problems to call Sony and report them so they are aware of just how widespread this issue is with this game. Feel free to report back here what you were told.

I've uninstalled the game data and patch, reinstalled from the disk and not had one freeze since.

Definately the patch that affected that for me.

Only crap thing is I can no longer be online without adding the patch. I don't want the friggin' patch but I want to see when buddies come online but now have to play this game without knowing !!!!

I my self have an original 60 G ps3 ( whose HD i swaped out with a 120 G one ) and really have only had issue with the game fallout. well whats funny is war hawk froze on me a few times but i almost hate to mention that game now.

hopefully sony does somthing firmware wise to help.

IDK i don thtink i would advise uninstalling any patches becase its hard to tell what happens after. i have never uninstalled a ps3 update. I have no first hand experiance on what occours when you do this.

I tried it and it stopped freezing for a while. Now that I made it inside sledge's safehouse it started freezing again. :/

that bite ass cloud. the game is really fun and frustrating enough on its own. freezing would really upset me. thats why i cant play Fallout3 anymore. it would freaze literally about 15 seconds into play
