the google bot is what indexs the internets. So it's putting the site into google.

yes the bots visit on occasion, we have 50 of them but only three that visit regularly, and sometimes they really mess up the indexing of this site but im only allowing the friendly little ones in here..
I hate it when the voices in my head go silent.....I never know what those fuckers are up to.

does anyone know how many times cloud has said "hmmm" thru out this board?

I think he does it cause he can think of nothing to say and wants to keep his post count up.
I hate it when the voices in my head go silent.....I never know what those fuckers are up to.

You have bots, spiders, and crawlers. Google doesnt make them all. You have adbots, feedfetchers, webcrawlers, everything you can possibly think of. For this site its free advertisement.
They are really no more than automated agents most commonly used by search engines to update their databases

Also, they don't all show up as google bot, but I think fish has blocked some of them, so you won't see as many others.
