Youtube won't finish upload....

I am trying to post the super show I posted here a few weeks back on Youtube. The bar will get to the complete point, but it won't finalize and finish the upload no matter how long I leave it. Could the file size or length be too much?

I have had uploads take half the night before.

When you upload to Youtube it converts your video to stream in flv, so depending on the file size and format you are uploading it might take a while

some times it would crap out on small things i had. sorry to hear you are strugling.

I've tried like 7 or 8 times. I left it on overnight and I got up to an error. Currently the bar has been full for at least an hour. The video is like 125 mb. I think there is still a time limit though as it's around 20 min long.

my suggestion would be to compress the video or convert it...

Actually I'm pretty sure there is some sort of time limit as I posted a video with the same amount of MB, but it was only like 4 min.

I can't get a link for it on youtube because as I say the upload won't finish, the first few times I checked my profile once the bar had been full for a bit and thought maybe I was getting an error and the page wasn't going to the next one, but it doesn't show that I uploaded another, the bar just gets to the end and the page just sits there trying to load and it's like "yeah man, let's hang out here".

I know it's not the file size as they allow hd video now and hd videos generally go over 100mb easy. I was trying to put it on youtube for more viewers. I may have to cut it into 3 sections.

Im downloadin off your site now to see if i can compress it...it is a pretty long video but the file size isnt that big

But fish like I say, I've put a video the same file size up, but it was only about 4 min. It's the time length that is the problem.

Edit: And yeah it's a small file size because I can only capture in 640 by 480.

yeah they got a 10 minute length limit and this is twice as long

you will have to split it

10 min time limit = lamest thing EVAR.

I saw a vid on you tube it was almost an hour long . he said he had a directors account which aloud him to post longer vid on youtube. I don't know how you'd get one. Thats my two cents and no refunds.

you can convert to a Director Account without filling out an application. From your Channel Info page, click on "change channel type" and you can select "Director" as the type of account you'd like. Once you've converted to a Director Account, you'll be able to create or choose your own customized logo.
