does jailbreaking void the warrenty??? also which one do i look at for the 3g. also how do i tell if its a 3g (i'm almost 100% it is but still not sure).

I believe jailbreaking does void the warranty but before you do a jailbreak you should backup ur phone to itune and if you have any problem you can restore everything back. I have firmware 2.2.1 on my 3g and this is what I used to jailbreak my phone. QuickPwn 2.2.5 and you can find it here http://www.simonblog.com/2009/01/31/qui ... available/
