I know there's an option to 'prune' topics older than a certain age, but that just deletes them, not locks..

And the lost posts were when Fish was messing with the database (I think) and some posts disappeared.

Yes I can lock and or delete them. I would rather not have to unless it becomes absolutly necessary.

I have left these here for refernce purposes or unless someone is really bored and feels like reading them.
They are not locked in case some one wants to post relevant comments.

If they continue to get bumped for the sake of being stupid then I will put restrictons on those individuals posting abilities without warning.

I don't think you can lock threads in this area, I know I can't, only threads on forums we moderate. And I was being funny about the lock button. Anyways let's let this thread die so that Fishy man doesn't start locking every thread over a day old thanks to a few "special" users.

Nothing stays on topic around here long, nah hippo just bumped the oldest topic we had in this data base for reasons only known to him, just didnt want it to become habit forming...but if it really pertains to the topic being discussed then I dont have a problem with the bump.
