Re: Xbox
My friend and bought it together we trade it back and forth now and again. its weird i know but it works. Xbox live ID Arc_A_Gabriel i think. I like halo and some of the RPGs that are on xbox. Tales of Vesperia (long time fan) and Infinite Undiscovery look good.

Re: Xbox
I had a Gamecube too, until earlier this year, but no Xbox. I've thought about getting one, but can't think of any games that I want to play on the 360. FPS and sports games don't appeal to me at all. Also, Microsoft charges for their online service, which I hear is expensive.
It would be awesome if we could play PS2 games on the PS3, but Sony seems to have dropped the backwards-compatible 80 gig PS3 model in Canada. I don't know why they don't just offer a PS2 emulator for sale on the PSN, because I hear that it's all done through software emulation now anyway.
Actually, I'd like a Gamecube emulator for the PS3. I really miss F-Zero GX, and Wipeout HD falls a long way short of F-Zero.

i have to look mine EDIT it is : BlisterHead. but i almost never play since all my buds are here. . but yeah i am feeling burned paying for online service. I was real close to canceling it this year but i got renewal dates mixed up and it autorenewed. doh! one more year. My issue is that some of my downloaded content is tied to the online id and is inacessable if i am not online. it was a refurbish / waranty issue when i got it replaced. So i have get tech help from xbox services to help me figure out how to correct this without telling them i am ending my live service. ha.
Nice TT made me chuckle
I still think about playing Animal crossing once and awhile DW and TT
Well Mr F one thing that hooked me way back was that i was really eager to play Oblivian and thought it was never being released on the other consoles. after that i can paly the old xbox games i have. I dig Uno. I know live service for somthing like visiting the jerry springer show. not quite worth it. All my Virtual friends are here except one guy i used to work with who is a Xbox only type of guy. There really is no reason to go Xbox now since most games are multi platform and Sony does not charge I dont see any reason to suggest getting one.

What i meant by that is playing uno is like opening a door to the bizare. I saw people doing the most bizzare stuff one guy kept putting his balls on his camera. did not last in that room to long. thank god warhawk does not support cameras.

Re: Xbox
The PS3s in the US use hardware emulation, aka, there is a PS2 chip in your PS3. This is very expensive, which is what causes the major difference between the 40 gig and the (old) 80 gig. In Britland, the PS3 was so expensive to ship that they had to cut the hardware emulation out of it, to reduce the price to a more reasonable one, though still very expensive. So in Britland, they have, in their firmware software emulation, which can play about 50% of PS2 games, using PS3 hardware. The only reason I can see that they haven't brought that over here is that they plan to sell PS2 games for download on the PSN, which I think is a good idea. It is so much easier to buy a game off PSN and wait half an hour for it to download than to drive (a somewhat long drive for me) to a Gamestop or a Target and buy an old PS2 game. Anyway....
I'm probably not going to get a 360, no appealing games on it for me, except with the possible exception of Fable 2. All the games that look good to me are available on either the PS3 or PC, or both.

ouch ok and i really did not want to open this pandoras box as my response to any request will be in the negatory but.... so you are suggesting the firmware upgrade at somepoint will make software sharing impossible for the sales of ps2 software to be reasonable. lot of pissed off owners. wow.

Re: Xbox
no pun or inuendo intended Lf but do you play with the Wii much? I know that sounds like a double entendre but its not meant that way. i do enjoy a good wii joke though.
any way Stick TT , what i was asking was do you think the PS3 Seca will try to enforce EULA's on downlaodable games becase ( no judgement here ) it will be an issue for a large amount of owners. I recently had a guy we met from another clan ask me to " Share my software " with him. With out getting to philosophical about it i said no.
any way this may become a huge issue for a lot of owners. thats what i was thinking about.

Re: Xbox
I was thinking about getting that. I enjoyed the supper mario RPG that came out built for the Wii not the downloadable ones ( which are all awesome in thier own right)
I dont have any online games but Animal Crossing is tempting when it comes out.
