and yeah im really pissed right now cause the cops stopped by around an hour ago and had found my kids bicycle, along with a few truckloads of other stolen stuff, after we went looking around my backyard we noticed my kids go kart was missing, and not just any go kart, i shelled out a little over 2300 bucks for this. So the cop gets on his radio and luckily they had recovered the go kart too, which is now at the salvage yard cause they took their wrecker to pick it up and store it. And my kids bike is in pieces now so im gonna spend another hundred bucks or so getting it fixed back up.

well that is a bad day. and I can understand the anger. No its not like they took vegtables and meat. it was probably drug fuled or based or related to fund. its amazing the cops found all the stuff. Some times they can be talked into finger printing stuff You would not imagine how stupid most thieves are but that costs and takes effort on the polices part.
glad none of you were hurt. or were placed into the postion of using deadly force. consider that the bright side. if there could be one.

Ya know..i have done work all over texas panhandle, missouri, kansas, oklahoma, and colorado. I have never had anything stolen until I move to SE Kansas. This is the worst place I have been for thieves and drugs. These ppl will get off with a slap on the hand because our justice system suks. A meth lab got busted here a couple months ago, the guy is already back out on the streets doing it again. So what is a petty thief compared to a drug dealer? maybe some probation will teach them a lesson. This is the 6th or 7th time in the 12 years I have been here that i have been ripped off and im tired of it, so more than likely I will sell my house and move. At least the cops are doing their job and doing it right, its not their fault the courts let them off the hook. American justice is pathetic imo.

wow. that is bad for a number of reasons. the volitility of the creaton process ( what little i undersatnd of it) is very dangerous in it self. Yeah i would be very tired of it I dont know i woudl have had the stamina to put up with it for several occourances. I would have been livid. I understand your reaction. yeah drugs petty theft its not a long term solution. its a solution for a day or two. not a stable lifestyle. yeah its natural to want to but you cant. he deserves it but you cant. you can only protect your self and secure your goods and make it unrealistic enough for him to victamize you agan.
Just make a lose association of people of his victams and keep an eye. out. have some one pose at some point as a buyer maybe and buy somthing stollen from him. develop some evidence. do the cops and tearchers job for them. You should not have to but you can get satisfation this way and not put your self in a punsihable position by doing it this way.

ok now another bitch part.....took my kids bike to Extreme Bikes today so they could rebuild his bike since it is totally stripped down to the frame, we found a few of the pieces but not all, took my kid this morning also up to 75 Auto that had hauled in the go kart after it was located and put in storage, cant get the go kart till monday after it has been released by the police dept. So, I have to pay storage and tow in on the go kart, and the rebuild of his bike will cost a couple hundred bucks also.

I asked the police dept if I was going to be able to get restitution, they said prolly not and I would have to persue any compensation thru cival court, basicly sue this guy when he gets out of jail. wtf? so it will alll be out of my pocket once again for something some one else did.

yeah cloud, and everyone else, it really does suck to have stuff stolen. What really chaps my ass is that this time they didnt steal from me, they stole from my 10 year old son, A child should never have to be a victim of a crime. Unfortunatly they are, this guy had more than just my kids stuff, he had numerous items from kids. Luckily I am able to either buy new or get stuff repaired that was damaged. What about the parents that are struggling financialy? So now thanks to some dumb ass there are other kids out there that will now do without their bikes and whatever else this person took of theirs. You have to understand that we live in a town with a population of around 4000, so yeah just about every kid has a bike, they all ride them to school, the park, to their friends, wherever they want to go. And just about every kid here knows every other kid here. So wtf, you have to be a pretty low life scum bucket to be stealing in the first place, and a town like this your not going to get away with it. I really appreciate the police dept. doing their job in recovering these things. In a large city these items would prolly be gone forever. Even tho I do have to pay to get these items back home and like they were, at least my kid has them back
